6. Starting a Game

1. 6.1. Representatives of the two teams fairly determine which team first chooses either:

   Team representatives should ensure they have the authority from their team to make the decisions listed in this section.

   Annotation: Fairly determining choices

   It is recommended that team representatives use the process described in the WFDF Rules of Ultimate Appendix to fairly determine the choices.

   1. 6.1.1. whether to receive or throw the initial pull; or
   2. 6.1.2. which end zone they will initially defend.
2. 6.2. The other team is given the remaining choice.
3. 6.3. At the start of the second half, these initial selections are switched.
